This turkey was taken by Ben Boone on March 18, 2011 in Simpson County. The turkey had an 11 inch beard and one spur was 1 1/4 inch and the other spur was 1 5/16 inch. Ben had his usual hunting partner Daniel Hemphill with him along with Ben's girlfriend Kaileigh. It was a great morning and especially great to kill one with Kaileigh. This was the second turkey Daniel called in for Ben this season. As you can see, he really was a "limb hanger". These boys and girl have had a good year so far.
