An early morning hunt, December 18, 2009, paid off for Maleeda Martin of Wesson, MS.  Maleeda was on her stand prior to daylight hoping to get a shot at a nice 8 point she had been seeing.  This palmated 13 point with 20 4/8" spread that green scored 179 4/8 came in view at dim light feeding on acorns.  She could not see if it was a buck or doe. After watching him 10 to 15 minutes (not realizing it was the buck of her or any hunter's dreams) until enough light gathered for her to see, Maleeda dropped him with one shot with her 7mm-08.
