This 8 point was taken in Blue Hill, MS on family land January 10, 2009, by Preston Shelton of Oldenburg, MS. The buck had an inside spread of 15 inches and  weighed in at 185 lbs.

He killed it at 8:20 am chasing does at 120 yards with a Ruger 270 bolt action.

This is Preston's first rack buck to date.
