The 18 point non-typical missed the state record by 5" as typical, but missed by 40" as non-typical.  Jay will have a choice with Pope & Young as to whether to enter it with P&Y as a typical or non-typical.  MS Magnolia Records requires in their program that a buck with over 10" of non typical points to entered as non-typical.
