This 180 lb 10 point (8 with 2 small stickers) was taken by Hailey Phillips, of Wesson on 12/6/08. This buck was taken about 8 miles from Wesson near Midway. Hailey heard him at a scrape nearby and grunted him in around 4:45. He used his dad's Thompson Center Omega .50 cal Muzzleloader, which left the buck where he stood. Hailey says this is his biggest buck yet. He also killed a doe opening day of rifle season in the same spot.
