This big 13 point buck (grossed 161 3/8) was killed on December 21, 2007
at Panther Tract by Giles Kelly, age 15. The buck was about 150 yards.
Giles shot the buck with a Thomson Center 300 Win Mag. Giles' dad,
Michael Kelly says, "He
no longer needs his Dad's guide service, I guess....LOL".
The smaller buck is a cull buck
with usual rack Giles took earlier in the season. Below is a
picture of a turkey Giles killed on March 15, 2007, with a Matthews bow
at Delta National Forest while hunting with his dad in the spring.
Giles father did the calling, and Giles
made a great shot at 20
yards; the bird ran 75 yards. This is quite an accomplishment with
a bow. Looks like Giles has already surpassed a lot of veteran
hunters. Congratulations Giles!!
