Scott Smith shot this big buck in Copiah County 1/07/06.

He said this buck was being chased by a dog, but the buck wasn't running too fast.  It was jumping left and right and would sometimes run behind the dog.  When the dog got close enough to the deer, the buck would turn and shake it's antlers.  After he shot the deer and recovered it, he realized why this buck wasn't too worried about the dog.

The deer green scored 157 & 2/8th's.  It had a 19 inch inside spread, 25 inch main beams.  It's a 10 point typical with an 11th point coming off the right brow tine.
