(Even though this was a 2003/2004 picture, it is new for The Bragging Post and we wanted to share it with since it shows what it takes to win at the Extravaganza.)

Picture on Left:
Carlisle McGee, Jr. of Greenville, MS killed this big buck during gun season, December 31, 2003 in Issaquena County.
The buck scored 178 1/8 gross, 167 0/8 net. Carlisle Jr.'s buck was MDWFP typical gun winner and typical buck of show.

Picture on Right:
Carlisle Jr. (left) and brother, Todd (right).  Todd had seen a glimpse of a nice buck in this area two weeks before.  He failed to tell anyone including his dad.  He and Carlisle were hunting within 300 yards of each other when Todd heard two shots and a yell.  Instead of the buck going to the one who one who worked the food plot, hand cut briar lanes and 10 hunts on the same stand, the buck went to his brother, Carlisle, who was on his second hunt of season.
